Santa Cruz County Child Care Planning Council
AB212 Early Education and Retention Program
The primary goal of the AB212 Project is to build a skilled and stable workforce to provide high quality
child care and development services through state subsidized child care programs. The
program is designed to retain qualified child care staff by providing educational awards and
support for continued education, professional develop and employment. Funding for this project
is generated from Assembly Bill 212. Our local Project allocates educational awards to eligible
programs in Santa Cruz County.
